What should I deduce from this UPS tracking information?
I just signed on with T-Mobile (a family plan for two) and the phone I wanted was unavailable at the time (I did this through my university), so I was told I could have it mailed to my house. The sales reps told me it was “overnight shipping.” That was last Thursday.
I finally got the tracking number today and put it into UPS.com. Not only is my phone being shipped to the house of the other person on the family plan, but the status says “Billing Information Received” and that it was shipped on 3/26. Mind you, I live on Long Island, so the phone is being shipped WITHIN Long Island (a very small area!). That means it’s going to take at least six days to arrive.
Anyway, my question is, why isn’t there more information provided on the UPS website? How am I supposed to know where it is right now? Does this mean that UPS just isn’t scanning the item at all or that the package is in the same place as it was a week ago?
This is ridiculous. Helpful answers appreciated.
