I was watching reporting scotland last night where someone bought an island and has declared it as a nation…
he has his own laws etc.. however i was wondering if there is any other islands for sale, where i can declare it as a nation?

There are islands for sale all over – just google the term.
You can declare an island a nation, but it has to be recognized as such by other countries to mean anything.
You must also be prepared to and capable of defending your island against invasion ( in this case, likely by the cops, the tax man or the men with the butterfly nets)
One guy standing on the shore with a rifle isn’t defence – it’s just tragic.
