rabbits for sale for cheap on staten island
I just want you to know something before you go buy that rabbit…rabbits are not cheap. Okay, so maybe the rabbit itself is cheap, but its everything that goes along with it. You’ll have to buy hay…and a lot of it. You’ll have to buy food, you’ll have to buy toys, you’ll have to buy a litter box, you’ll have to buy veggies pretty often to make sure your rabbit gets them most days. Make sure you are up to spending the money. And another thing, if you’re going to buy a cage, don’t buy one thats too cheap. You will want one thats well constructed and spacious enough for your rabbit…It will save you money in the long run because it will last a lot longer and your rabbit will be happier.
Rabbits are also a lot of work. You’ll have to change its litterbox everyday, change its water every day, let it out of its cage to get exercise (while supervised…rabbits are notoriously good at getting into trouble and eating things they shouldn’t like cords and furniture). If you’re looking for a very simple animal to take care of…a rabbit might not necessarily be it. I would actually recommend a cat, because all you have to do is scoop the kitty litter and chang the food and water regularly. You don’t even have to clean a cage like you would have to with a rabbit.
I just don’t want you to get into something you aren’t prepared for like so many people do. So many rabbits die because their owners set them free when they don’t want to care for them anymore and there are so many bunnies at shelters because people just aren’t ready for the responsibility.
Sorry this was so long, but I feel pretty strongly about it :p
